Howdy friends! For today’s blog post I have some swatches for a few releases from the indie nail polish brand Lacquistry. This is a brand that I fell in love with last year. If you LOVE nail polishes that have a next level sparkle factor.. these will be for you. I have featured this brand on my YouTube channel a bunch this year because their polishes are really amazing.

There are a total of 3 releases within this collection. A Mental Health Awareness trio, a Domestic Violence duo and a anti-AI/Data Centers duo. For the polishes that benefit charity, I have the charities listed beneath each polish.

Lacqusitry is a US based indie nail polish brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 10 Free, Cruelty Free & Vegan.

My swatches for all of the following polishes are in 2 coats with 1-2 layers of the brand’s top coat. These polishes are all on the thicker end of the spectrum but I didn’t have any issues with application!

Description: Shimmering and sparkling lavender and light blue reflective glitters for the glimmer we all have, in a black jelly base representing the unfortunate dark mountain always looming in the distance, black micro holo, and red shimmer to remind us that our spark is still there.

Rainbows Don’t Have to End III

Charity info: 100% profit goes to The Trevor Project. They are the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people.

Polish Description: Pink/purple/fuchsia/gold magnetic shift on a base that shifts from orange to magenta. Clear golden holographic flakes, red/orange/bronze/copper shifting metallic flakes, orange holo microshreds, lavender micro holo glitter, and orange/pink/magenta microflake shimmer. All the colors to represent a rainbow of challenges, and opportunities for triumphs. Clear base.

You Are Not Alone 988 Lifeline

 Charity info: 100% profit goes to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 988

Description: Large particle color shifting shimmer from orange to pink, red to gold and green because pain has many different facets. Vibrant green reflective glitter, lavender and pink holo micro glitters to remind you that your sparkle is still there, even if it seems buried. In a black jelly base.

 Note from the brand owner: I have hidden the National Domestic Violence Hotline as the polish number and their phone number hidden as the batch number. This label was designed to be safe to be given to someone in a DV situation without their abuser knowing that there is contact information on the polish. Hopefully, an abuser would not think to even look there. 

Description: Small sparkles of lavender reflective glitter, pink and lavender holo micro glitters. Pinky lavender shimmers as the base with just a suggestion of gold shimmer as a silent supporter. NOTE: I made the polish a less “flashy” formula because I am aware that there are abusers that do not like their victims wearing anything attention grabbing.

Thriver Not Survivor

Info: A celebration of those of us who have been fortunate enough to overcome domestic violence and/or hardship.

Description: A vibrant violet/cobalt jelly base with crystalline pink, purple, and holo clear flakes, sapphire holo micro glitters, blue reflective glitter, and color shifting flakes. We may have been down, but we came back brilliant and glowing.

·         Description: Industrial grey to green metallic color shifting flakes, clear purple holo flakes, pink and lavender micro holo glitter, blue & purple reflective glitter, purple to pink shimmer, rose to gold shimmer. In a clear base.

 Fuck Your Data Center

Description: Golden green to olive metallic flakes, red shimmers, golden clear flakes, lavender, purple, gold, and lime holo micro glitters in an indigo jelly base.

Final Thoughts

I love the ideas behind all of the polishes in this release. I have had my own mental health struggles in life and it really brings me great joy that Jenna is able to take what is a little bit of a darker subject and create such beautiful things out of that darkness. I greatly appreciate her openness on both the topics of mental health and domestic violence. I feel like we all are feeling very FTS over all of the generative AI nonsense that is currently worming it’s way into society.

If you made it this far you probably now know why I love the polishes this brand does. So very much sparkle, beautiful color combos and did I mention sparkle? I am going to cheat and say these were all my favorite haha.
