Bee’s Knees Lacquer Spread Your Wings

Inspo: the book Belladonna

Spread Your Wings is a beautiful soft shimmery shade, it gives off fairy princess vibes! The shimmer in this polish is STRONG and is very in your face for such a delicate base color.

I found this is one of those shimmers that gets a little washed out in my bright lighting. The color of the shimmer in my 4th photo is the color that I was seeing in person.

The formula was fantastic, not too thick or too thin. The silver reflective glitter is super sparkly but gives off some texture. I opted to use a glitter smoothing top coat before my quick dry top coat, but depending on your preference, one top coat might do.

My photos show Spread Your Wings in 2 coats plus glossy top coat. I really loved how this looked on me in two coats but you can add a third if you want more opacity. However, this is one of the polishes that won’t be able to reach full opacity without use of an opaque base.

This is a little similar to BKL polish called Mirage (Heartless Hunter). The base colors between the two are different, technically Mirage has a purple base but it looks pinky purple on the nail. The shimmers are also different, Mirage is described as having an green to blue shimmer where this polish is aqua to blue. Not dupes but similar.

I had originally thought that this polish was a reflective glitter version of Infinite Endings from Once Upon A Broken Heart Mystery Bags. I don’t think the base color is *exactly* the same, but they’re similar enough that other than the reflective glitter, there isn’t a huge difference between the two.

The Hella Handmade Creations store opens on the 14th of every month at 12:01am Eastern Time and closes on the 21st at 11:59pm HST (4:59AM Eastern time on the 22nd). All items sold are on a pre-order basis and won’t ship until around 4 weeks after the sale period.
