Hi friends! Today I am sharing the March 2025 Fandom Flakies box! For March the theme is Minecraft. Admittedly I don’t know very much about Minecraft but the new movie looks pretty interesting.

Fandom Flakies is a monthly indie collaboration between Bee’s Knees Lacquer, Night Owl Lacquer and Ribbits Stickits.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer – Ocean Monument

Description: a deep turquoise with green to blue and blue to purple microflakes

I swatched Ocean Monument in 3 coats. I think this one looks best in three coats. This has a sheer and slightly thicker formula but not so thick that it needed thinner. This is also a jelly so there was some VNL.

Make sure to wear base coat if you are concerned about staining, I didn’t experience any but it looks like a potential stainer to me.

Night Owl Lacquer – Lush Caves

Description: a mossy green filled with glowy micro flakie shimmer that shifts copper/gold/green and pink metallic flakes.

Lush Caves is one of those “is this pretty or prugly?” polishes. The pink flakes look rose gold to me. I used 2 slighter thicker coats but I’ll call it a 2-3 coater depending on personal preference

Ribbits Stickits Crying Obsidian

Description: A dark, moody violet base filled with violet and blue crystal flakies and black micro flakies. 

Crying Obsidian is the kind of jelly where if you go in for really thin coats, it will be more sheer looking. I used slightly thinner coats on my pointer finger and it didn’t quite reach the same level of opacity as my other nails.

I would recommend this one in three coats to get the most even opaque look on the nail. The formula was also on the thicker side.

Honey Bottle scent description – perfect warm, fresh honey scent, rounded out with hints of wildflowers, vanilla, and sandalwood

This month’s scent smells exactly like the description! It’s warm and sweet with very light floral notes.
