Bee’s Knees Lacquer is a US based indie brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 5 free, cruelty free and vegan friendly.
Crabs Is Bugs
Description: a green leaning gray with fine particle magnetic holo shimmer
I was shocked that this is described as a green leaning grey. I didn’t see a drop of green in this polish! It leans a tiny bit in the greige/beige family in my opinion.
My photos show Crabs Is Bugs in 2 coats both magnetized and unmagnetized.
Cuz
Description: a sheer grungy yellow with strong pink to gold to green microflake shimmer
Brand note: the gossamer formula will not reach full opacity without a blurring base or undies*
My photos show Cuz in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I didn’t use any kind of blurring base for my photos.
Dancing Queens
Description: A nude with larger particle silver magnetic shimmer
This polish is for all of the people who wanted a bottle of the unreleased Minora (Heartless Hunter). ICYMI, Minora was scrapped due to some chunky pigment issues. Dancing Queens doesn’t use the same pigment as Minora but they are so close.
My photos show Dancing Queens in 3 coats plus glossy top coat.
Side by side comparison of Dancing Queens to Minora. As you can see the magnetic pigment is different and Dancing Queens doesn’t have the chunky pigments.
Elden Beast
Description: a smoky plum Lion cousin with gold to green shimmer and a ton of holo flakes
My photos show My photos show Elden Beast in 2 coats plus glossy top coat. I found in the sunlight this looked a little patchy so I’m going to call it a 2-3 coater depending on personal preference.
FFS
Description: a rusty reddish brown with glowy blue shimmer
I had some slight pigment specks with this polish. Nothing that was easy to spot once I built it up or added top coat.
My photos show FFS in 3 coats plus glossy top coat.
Goddess of Rot
Description: a wine base with strong gold to green to blue shimmer
My photos show Goddess of Rot in 3 coats plus glossy top coat.
This reminded me of BKL’s The Crown from the A Court of Silver Flames Part 1. I would say they are not dupes but if you missed out on The Crown, Goddess of Rot will give you a similar look. The Crown seems to have a stronger shimmer effect but similar color shifts.
Lost Grace
Description: a sheer grape purple with strong gold to green to blue microflake shimmer. $14
Brand note: may dry with texture so we recommend a glitter top coat or 2 layers of our QDTC
My photos show Lost Grace in 3 coats plus glossy top coat.
Obnoxious Trumpet Sounds
Description: a new gold Lion cousin, this is inspired by the capital and is a pale gray with gold to green shimmer and a ton of holo flakes
The holographic in this polish is STUNNING. Lion siblings really do just hit differently. This is a fairly sheer lion sibling so I did have VNL with in.
My photos show Obnoxious Trumpet Sounds in 3 coats plus glossy top coat.
The flakies in this polish don’t dry down textured like a glitter but they will make removal messy.
Placidu-suuux
Description: a sandy tan Lion cousin with pink to gold shimmer and a ton of holo flakes
My photos show Placidu-suuux in 3 coats plus glossy. I did have a little bit of VNL with this polish.
The flakies in this polish don’t dry down textured like a glitter but they will make removal messy.
Poison Mist
Description: a sheer olive with glowy blue to purple shimmer
Poison Mist is being released as a gift with purchase when you purchase this collection. It’s a very sheer polish but the shimmer is super strong!

Final Thoughts
As someone who is firmly in the “is it fall yet?” I loved how Autumnal this collection feels! The Lion cousins were without a doubt my favorite from the collection, I feel like overall everything looked and performed fantastic.
My top picks are Placidu-suuux, Obnoxious Trumpet Sounds, Elden Beast and Dancing Queens gets my honorable mention.
