Zoya Color Of The Month February 2024 Swatches and Review

Hi friends! Today I am sharing a nail polish that I am honestly surprised was released. When Zoya didn’t have a color of the month for January of this year I had assumed that meant they were ending their colors of the month series.
Clearly, I was wrong because for February we have a new color of the month! I’m not too sure why they skipped January (or why this series started in July tbh) but I am not going to complain that it’s happening because I really like this series a lot! Love formula wise was ok. It felt on the thicker side but this also has a ton of glitter in it so I did expect some thickness. I do think I will likely need to add some thinner to this one next time I go to use it.
While this is being promoted as a Valentine’s Day red, I wouldn’t call it a seasonal red shade per say. It comes across as very jewel toned to me.
I am not of the camp that every glitter needs to be holographic to be good but I feel like I would have liked this a lot more if this did have some holographic sparkle to it.
My photos show Love in 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. In two coats, you don’t get quite the same depth of color that you do with three. I’ll call this a 2-3 coater depending on personal preference though. This dries down very textured so you will need multiple coats of top coat to smooth all of the glitters out.
