NicoleLovesNails.com is a blog started by me Nicole King-Danielson to showcase my love of nail polish. I originally started this blog as a way of swatching through my nail polish collection. At the time I created this blog in 2020, I had over 600 bottles. At the time I am writing this page, I have.. well significantly more than that.
I will always give my full opinion on products and I will not provide a positive review of a product that I do not personally like. While I do get paid for some of my swatches and the time it takes to do them, my opinion can not be bought. I won’t give a positive review if I don’t actually like the product.
I will always disclose what products were sent to me in PR, purchased, or sponsored content. I do also use affiliate links on this blog as a way to fund the costs. All nail polish swatches are done on my nails. I usually flip flop between hard gel nail enhancements (long nails) and my natural nails with a gel overlay (shorties). I’m entirely self taught when it comes to nail enhancements.
As of March 2022, I use a Canon 90D to take my photos as well as record my YouTube videos. Prior to that, I was using a Lumix FZ80. As of January 2023, I use a Canon M50 Mark 2 for my outdoor photos. All of my equipment can be found on this page. My photos are shot indoors with daylight bulbs and when it’s not freezing/raining out, I go outside for natural light. I do my best to show all polishes as I see them in person.
All photos include glossy top coat. My current favorite top coats are by KBShimmer’s Clearly On Top, Smooth Moves. My favorite matte top coat is Night Owl Lacquer’s Gone Matte. My favorite base coats are 1st Base by Heather’s Hues and Peely Base by Holo Taco.
