Polished Gamers Box | Stardew Valley

Good day everyone! Today I have some swatches of a new-to-me brand called Alter Ego. This polish will be available in the Stardew Valley themed Polished Gamers box! The PGB opens today at 2PM Eastern time. As always, I will have links below to where you can purchase this!

The Polished Gamers Box aka PGB is a monthly collaboration between handmade indie brands. Each month has a different theme and themes are always related to video games. Items available range from nail polish to wax melts to stamping plates and even jewelry. Previous boxes have included Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts.

Disclaimer: I was sent these products as PR in exchange for photographs and an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My photos were taken indoors with daylight bulbs and outdoors with natural light (weather willing). All photos include both glossy and matte top coats.

Dwarf was very smooth for a glitter based polish. This is a full coverage glitter polish so it does build up on it’s own. The base is tinted so if you sponged this on you would lose some of that base color. I don’t see any reason to sponge this on though. Just a touch patchy in 2 coats so I used 3 thin coats for my photos. I also used 1 coat of a glitter eating top coat (Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber) before I applied my glossy top coat. I didn’t have any issues removing this with acetone and the soak off method.

This was the first time trying out Alter Ego and I really enjoyed the formula. I really want to just take a moment to geek out over the shape of the bottles by this brand. Not only is it shaped really cool, they hold 17ml of polish!! I will have a video up on my Instagram story (it will go in Behind The Scenes highlight) showing the bottle off later today. This is definitely a brand to keep an eye out for, if you weren’t already! I’ll have more swatches featuring this brand coming later this month.

The Polished Gamers Box opens for orders on the 15th of each month at 12PM Mountain time (2PM Eastern time) until the 21st at 10PM Mountain (midnight Eastern) time on PolishedGamersBox.com. There will be a ton more items than what I have shown available. All items are capped so be sure to get there when the shop opens! All PGB items are sold on preorder and will ship in around 4 weeks after the sale period.

Shipping within the US has a flat rate of $4. International shipping is available and priced at checkout. Multiple orders in the same name will have shipping overages will get refunded.
