Happy Playstation 5 launch day! Did anyone pick one up today? I am holding off on grabbing one for the time being. Anyway, today’s blog post is for the November Polished Gamers box. I have 2 polishes to share with you all. One is from Color Spectrum Polish and the other is from Zombie Claw Polish. The November PGB is themed after the game series Diablo. The box opens for sales on the 15th of this month. I’ll have links and sale details at the end of this post.
The Polished Gamers Box aka PGB is a monthly collaboration between handmade indie brands. Each month has a different theme and themes are always related to video games. Items available range from nail polish to wax melts to stamping plates and even jewelry. Previous boxes have included Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts.
Disclaimer: I was sent these products as PR in exchange for photographs and an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My photos were taken indoors with daylight bulbs and outdoors with natural light (weather willing). All photos include both glossy and matte top coats.
Color Spectrum Polish – The End of Days
Description: A deep inky blue shimmer with holo microflakies and orange to yellow shifting ucc flakies
Inspiration: Foggy night scene of sanctuary at moonlight
Price: $12 for 13ml Cap: 50 bottles
The End of Days really blew me away! The flakies paired with the base color is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect formula and no application issues with this one. This is a very dark blue and in low lighting it will appear almost black. I didn’t think I liked blues this dark but I loved this shade! The flakes spread out easily and evenly. I didn’t need to do anything special to get them spread out. I LOVED this one matte (hence the 2 pictures). The base is jelly like but it builds up really nicely in 2-3 coats depending on nail length. My photos show it in 3 coats. No issues on removal with acetone.

Zombie Claw Polish – Auriel
Description: A silver base that shifts blue-green-purple with linear holo
Inspiration: Auriel
Price: $12.50 for 13ml Cap: 50 bottles
Auriel was very tricky to photograph! I was seeing a blue to purple to pink (magenta?) shift in person however, my camera seemed to only want to show the blue to purple shift. I tried contorting my arms, making a video, and grabbing a screen cap. Nothing seemed to want to cooperate with me. All that said, the shimmer in this is absolutely gorgeous and very strong.
On top of the shimmer, the linear holographic element in this is really in your face! The formula was great and y’all know I love the brush from this brand. I did have a pretty noticeable nail line with this polish. Which I think will also occur with natural nails. This is sheer enough that it would make for a really cool topper. My photos show Auriel in 3 coats. Super easy removal with acetone.
