Hi friends! I know I always say this but I swear this month went by SO quickly! I can’t believe it’s almost time for shop Polish Pickup again! Today I am sharing 2 polishes that will part of the March 2024 sale period. For March the theme is Slumber Party.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer – You’re Finally Awake
Inspiration: Skyrim’s famous opening lines
Description: a stormy gray base with strong blue shimmer
Price: $14 for 15ml | Cap: None
You’re Finally Awake had a fantastic but very sheer formula. While it is sheer enough to be used as a topper I think it looked best built up in three coats.
The shimmer in this polish is super strong and glowy! In person, I saw a very slight color shift between shades of blue. I’m unsure if that’s show the shimmer looked due to the base or if there is actually a color shift moment happening.
My photos show You’re Finally Awake in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Nothing in here will be difficult to remove but the shimmer will make things messy.

Sweet & Sour Lacquer – Pillow Forts & PJs
Inspiration: pillow forts
Description: a mauve jelly base with gold/green/blue shimmer
Price: $13 for 15ml | Cap: 500
Pillow Forts & PJs the number of times I have written this polish down as being called Pillow Farts and not Pillow Forts is far too high. I’m glad it’s Pillow Forts because this is way too pretty of much a polish inspired by farting!
This polish had an amazing formula, the shimmer is SO DAMN strong! Due to how strong the shimmer is, this polish does start off a little sheer so it does need to be built up to reach full opacity. While you can reach full coverage in two coats, if you want to same color you see in the bottle on the nail, you’ll want to go in for three coats.
The shimmer was exactly as described, however I only saw the blue come in at more extreme angles. I just love the color shifty goodness that is this nail polish!
My photos show Pillow Forts & PJs in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I didn’t personally experience any staining with this polish but I would highly suggest wearing base coat if your nails are prone to staining.
