November is here, and it’s time to break out the heavy sweaters and jackets. Unless you’re me and did that last month so you’re now breaking out your winter clothes and coat. Anyway, I have a beautiful polish to share with you all today! I have the Polish of The Month from the brand Paint It Pretty Polish. This polish is available now on the Paint It Pretty Polish Etsy page. As always, sale details and links to where you can purchase this will be at the end of this post!
If you haven’t heard of this brand before, Paint It Pretty Polish is an indie nail polish brand. Their polishes are handmade in Canada, 5 free, vegan and cruelty free. I have reviewed their polishes before and always enjoy the formulas! Btw, I used their flakie topper collection for the banner on this blog!
Disclaimer: I was sent these products as PR in exchange for photographs and an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My photos were taken indoors with daylight LED bulbs, outdoors with natural light plus both matte and glossy top coats.
Cozy Sweater
Description: a grey holo base packed with taupe microflakes and holo flakes.
Cozy Sweaters had a fantastic formula with no application issues. My eyes were picking up a pinky toned shimmer in this, which might be the taupe micro flakes. In my swatch notes, I called it a “strong pink-ish or maybe copper shimmer”. This polish is extremely holographic! In my 4th photo, I used my iPhone flashlight to show how this would have looked if we had some sun here. My photos show it in 3 coats. I believe this would be opaque on natural nails in 2 coats. Those of you with long nails might also need 3 coats too though. This is removed easily with acetone.
I LOVE shades like this! Holographic grey polishes are actually how I fell in love with wearing grey polish this time of year. Even though we don’t get many sunny days here in Connecticut during the late fall/winter months, I still bust out these holographic polishes.

Bonus?
This is totally unrelated to this blog post but I just wanted to share this photo I took of the burning bush in front of our house. This photo was taken on October 19th. I noticed this morning that nearly all of the beautiful red leaves have died and was genuinely sad about it. *sigh*
The second photo is of Smokey, my sister’s cat that we are cat sitting. She likes to sit on the front porch while I get my outdoor shots. When I went into the yard to take the first photo, she followed me. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen her in my stories since she likes to hang out in the nail room with me most days. We got our first snowfall for the season this past weekend. So, this post is probably going to be one of the last ones where I have outdoor photos for polishes.

Thanks, Ananka! I was hoping no one would mind the non-nail related part of this post 😅 I love cats too. Including little Smokey, we have 3 plus a dog.
