Coast Through Life

Description: A vibrant raspberry-leaning purple linear holographic
Price: $11

Coast Through Life had a great formula. It didn’t feel overly thick or thin and applied buttery smooth onto the nail. In person, this was a slightly pink lean, depending on lighting, purple shade.

This is going to be a one coater on pretty much everyone. I use two coats for my photos. I did not see a difference in color or a significant difference in opacity between 1 and 2 coats. Maybe the holo is *slightly* stronger but a negligible amount in my opinion. This does dry down dull so you will want a glossy top coat for shine. No issues with staining.

Cruise Control

Description: A bright cobalt blue with shifting shimmer
Price: $11

Cruise Control had a great jelly-like formula. I didn’t have any formula or application issues. The shimmer slightly showed some brush strokes. I found the colors in it I was seeing were mainly green to gold. A

I used 3 coats for my photos. There was a tiny bit of VNL on some angles. Nothing in here was difficult to remove and I didn’t experience any staining.

Easy Glowing

Description:  a neon chartreuse jelly with color shifting flakies
Price: $11

Easy Glowing had a great formula. It felt somewhere between a jelly and a crelly polish. The flakies all spread evenly and easily on their own. I got some larger flakes out on the nail with this which I always love. This polish is BRIGHT! The yellow base is a highlighter neon yellow polish.

This will be a 2 to 3 coater depending on personal preference and nail length. However, I will note that the third coat does deepen the color and add opacity. I used 3 coats for my photos. Nothing in here dried textured or was overly difficult to remove. I didn’t experience any staining.

Happy Camper

Description: A near aqua, teal-leaning robin’s-egg blue, this bright crème
Price: $11

Happy Camper had a fantastic formula. It applied buttery smooth and self leveled wonderfully.

This is going to be a 1-2 coater depending on preference and application style. Short nails should be able to get away with 1 thicker coat. I used 2 coats for my photos.

This polish is similar to China Glaze’s For Audrey but more blue toned and brighter. I compared the two side by side in my live swatch video.

Lights Out

Description: A dark midnight-to-purple multichrome that also shifts to a warm magenta and gold
Price: $11

Lights Out had a great formula. It was very opaque on the first coat. This is a very color shifty in person! I was seeing all of the described colors. I will note that the pigment in this one does just slightly show some brush strokes.

I think most nail lengths will be good in 2 coats. I had some light spots on the clear part of my nail so I used 3 coats for my photos.

Perfectly Suited

Description: A yellow with a hint of chartreuse with golden shimmer and holographic flakes
Price: $11

Perfectly Suited had a great formula. It didn’t feel overly thick or thin and applied very nicely. The description for this is really accurate, it is very much a yellow with a hint of chartreuse. Depending on the lighting, it will lean in either direction.

This will be opaque in 2 to 3 coats depending on nail length and potentially personal preference. I thought it was good in 2 coats but I did have some transparency on my tips so I went in for a third coat. For personal wear, I would wear this in two coats.

Pitcher This

Description: a cherry-leaning polish loaded with a gold to copper to blue to purple shimmer
Price: $11

Pitcher This had a very smooth formula in applied really nicely it wasn’t too thick or too thin. The shimmer is very color shifty! In person I was seeing all of the described color shifts. The base color to me is more fuchsia to a pink berry than a cherry red.

The flakies also spread out very evenly and easily. Nothing in here dried down textured or will be too difficult to remove.

Red, White & Brews

Description: a faded red mega flame polish (microglitter)
Price: $11

Red, White & Brews had a great formula. It didn’t feel overly thick at all despite having so much glitter in it. I *think* this is a red base with a mix of red and silver holo micro glitters. The faded red is more apparent when next to another red, in my opinion.

This will be a 2 to 3 coater depending on personal preference. I found in two coats I had really good coverage and a nice color but the third coat did add more opacity as well as deepening the base color. This will dry slightly textured 1 coat of the KBShimmer top coat seems to smooth it out completely. I have a feeling if I wore this for longer, I might have wanted a second coat of top coat though.

RV There Yet?

Description: a pale, silver-leaning lavender with copper to gold to reddish orange shifting shimmer
Price: $11

RV There Yet? had a great formula. Zero formula or application issues. The copper shimmer is *very* in your face and color shifty. I was seeing all of the color shifts in person. The shimmer didn’t give brush strokes and the flakies spread out really nicely without giving off texture.

This will be a 2-3 coater depending on preference. I used 3 coats for my photos.

Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed this collection! I was a little disappointed there weren’t more neons BUT I also really liked that it wasn’t just a collection full of neons. My top picks are Easy Glowing, Happy Camper, Pitcher This, Perfectly Suited, and RV There Yet?. I know that’s more than half of the collection but those are my favorites.
