Hey nails friends! Super exciting to share this post with you all. I have the newest collection by Heather’s Hues which is her 7th anniversary collection! This is a 4 piece collection with beautiful inspiring names and is available right now. These all had the same formula and the application was the same so I will talk about them at the end of the post.

Heather’s Hues is a indie nail polish brand. Their polishes are handmade in the USA, 5 free, vegan, and cruelty free.

Description: a classic blue packed with a mix of holo sparkle, flakes, and microshreds, and a blue-violet-pink-gold-green shifting shimmer 

Do What Makes Your Soul Shine

Description: a bright blurple jelly packed with a mix of holo sparkle, flakes, and microshreds, a glowing pink-gold shimmer, and iridescent flakes in pink-red-orange 

Karma

Description: an emerald green packed with a mix of holo sparkle, flakes, and microshreds, a glowing gold-green-turquoise shimmer, and a hint of green-cyan-sapphire multichrome flakes 

Love & Light

Description: a berry pink jelly packed with a mix of holo sparkle, flakes, and microshreds, a glowing blue-violet-pink shimmer, and a touch of blue-violet-fuschia iridescent flakes

Final Thoughts

This was a fantastic release! All of the formulas were great, and the polishes were all beautiful. These all had the same great formula. They will all be 2-3 coaters depending on personal preference. I used 3 coats for everything. The only polish in this release that I would say really needed 3 coats would be And Still I Rise. The color you see in the bottle wasn’t quite there in 2 thin coats. Love & Light was similar in that regard.

If I was going to pick a favorite, I would go with, Do What Makes Your Soul Shine. I just really enjoyed how the components paired with that base color. Purple jellies with flakies are a weakness for me.

Each year I always look forward to Heather’s anniversary releases. Heather’s Hues first hit my radar for the 4 Year anniversary release (with a grey to purple thermal). I can’t (more like refuse to.. LOL) count the number of orders I’ve placed since then. Let’s just say I currently have 4 drawers in a helmer dedicated to Heather’s Hues and keep a healthy stock of her lotions in nearly every room of my house. It still blows my mind that I even swatch for Heather on a regular basis. I’m so grateful to her because she was the first person to ever take a chance with me.
