Hello friends! I am so pumped to share this collection with you all! Today’s post is for the newest release from Geeky Bee’s Nail Colors. This collection is inspired by one of my favorite bands ever, Slipknot! To add to the fun, this will be a 2 part release!

Don’t Ever Judge Me
Inspiration: Inspired by the song “Surfacing,” and the classic red jumpsuits and the original Slipknot esthetic.
Description: a Blood red crelly base with a hint of green shimmer and tons of tiny shredded black glitter
*Comes with a free half-sheet of 742617000027 Barcode waterslide decals (white backing).
Don’t Ever Judge Me had a fantastic formula. This had a jelly-like feel to it, so you will want to build it up for full opacity. The black glitter shreds are really small so they won’t dry textured or be difficult to remove. The shimmer is on the more subtle side.
I used 3 coats for my photos. I found this had great coverage in 2 coats but to get the blood red color you see in the bottle, you will want to do 3 coats. I didn’t experience any staining with this polish but I would still recommend base coat to prevent staining.
This polish also comes with some bar code waterslide decals. I believe this was my first time using decals like these and I found them very user friendly. They are pretty thin so 1 coat of top coat sealed them in nicely.
Here Comes The Pain!
Inspiration: by the song “(sic),” and the visual of the back cover of the self-titled album.
Description: a sepia-toned jelly base with big aurora shimmer, shifty micro flakies, hints of copper, and black glitter.
Here Comes The Pain had a fantastic formula. It was slightly on the sheerer side so you will want to build it up for opacity. The aurora shimmer has a pink to gold to green color shift that pairs so beautifully with the base. The flakies and glitters spread evenly without giving off texture.
This polish will likely be a 3 coater on pretty much everyone. I had a bit of VNL with this polish but it wasn’t drastic. Nothing in here will be difficult to remove. You will want top coat for a glossy finish.
If You’re 555…
Inspiration: Inspired by the song “The Heretic Anthem.”
Description: A sexy and slightly sparkly wine red polish with black micro glitter and dark micro flakes.
If You’re 555… had a beautiful formula. This polish is just as described, it’s a very vampy and sexy red shade. I found in person, this looks an almost metallic polish. The microglitter and flakes are very small and honestly easy to miss when looking at the polish in person.
I used 3 coats for my photos. I think it will likely be a 3 coater on most people but in 2 thicker coats might be passable. I didn’t experience any staining with this polish.
Nothing Is What It Seems
Inspiration: the song “Duality.”
Description: A brown-based green/gold to deep rose duochrome with scattered holo sparkle
Nothing Is What It Seems had a fantastic formula. It didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any problems with the application. It went on very smoothly and the duochrome looks amazing paired with the brown base! I found the color shifts I was seeing in person were greenish gold to bronze to rose gold type shades. The holographic gives this a beautiful sparkle.
This will be opaque in 2-3 coats depending on preference. I used 3 coats for my photos but I think I was being a little picky on coverage. For personal wear, I would likely stop at 2 coats. Nothing in here will dry textured or be difficult to remove.
One More Time, Motherf*cker!
Inspiration: the song “People=Shit,” and the shifting chrome cover and liner notes of the original Iowa album.
Description: Shifty silvery chrome with aurora sparkle and iron colored micro flakes.
One More Time, Motherf*cker! had a wonderful formula. This is a metallic/chrome shade so there are some brush strokes in the final polish. I found most of the brush strokes do disappear as the polish dries but there are some still visible. The micro flakes are very small so they do not dry textured.
I used 2 coats for my photos. I could see longer nails needing a third coat to cover VNL.
Extras
The full listing for this collection will also come with mani bombs and waterslide decals. The mani bombs have a beautiful floral fragrance.

Final Thoughts
Guys, this collection was SO fun to swatch! Slipknot has been one of my favorite bands since I was a teenager and it was so fun thinking of the songs that Beth picked out as inspiration.
My top picks from this release were Nothing Is What It Seems and One More Time Motherf*cker!. I really hope you all liked this collection as much as I did as the second part is going to be even better!
