Fandom Flakies Umbrella Academy
Hello friends! Today’s blog psot is for the newest Fandom Flakies! For October the theme is the show Umbrella Academy. I keep meaning to check out this show but for whatever reason I keep forgetting. Anyone else just keep watching the same shows over and over again?
I am almost done with I believe to be either my second or third Smallville rewatch of the year. Yes I have watched it so many times I can’t remember if this is the second or third time this year. It’s 10 seasons so that’s to be expected. I won’t even say how many times I have rewatched the Twilight Saga this year

Bee’s Knees Lacquer – I Know This Is Impossible, But Did We Get Sexier?
Description: a minty green base full of orange to green iridescent flakes and holo flakes.
I Know This Is Impossible, But Did We Get Sexier? had a fantastic formula. This one starts out a little bit sheer but it builds up to reach full opacity really nicely. Also the name is freaking hysterical. This is one of those moments where I wish I knew the reference!
The flakies in here all spread out very evenly and easily. These will not dry down textured but they will be very messy to removal. The holo flakies are ridiculously sparkly!
My photos show I Know This Is Impossible, But Did We Get Sexier? in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. If you don’t mind obvious VNL or have very short nails, this will be passable in 2 coats. The third coat does deepened the base color just a smidge.
Night Owl Lacquer – Sexy Trash
Description: a teal base filled with pink/orange/gold/green large particle shimmer, black metallic flakes and silver holographic micro flakies
Sexy Trash also had a fantastic formula. The base didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application issues. Y’all the base color paired with the shimmer and flakies was so beautiful. This has the black flakies that I have been so obsessed with the past few months.
This polish was a bit more opaque than the Bee’s Knees so I do think if your nails are shorter than mine or you aren’t super picky, this will be good in 2 coats. For personal wear, I would likely just wear this one in 2 coats.
My photos show Sexy Trash in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Removal for this polish won’t be overly difficult but it will be messy.
P.S I love the name of this polish.
Ribbits Stickits
So while I didn’t get most of the references on the waterslide decals this month, the ‘What I Am Is Sexy Trash’ was by far my favorite decal.
