Bee’s Knees Lacquer – Do You Like Scary Movies
Inspiration: by our favorite final girl Sydney Prescott
Description: a deep raspberry base with cobalt to purple multichrome shimmer and holo flakes.
Do You Like Scary Movies? had a fantastic formula. The base color on this polish is a GORGEOUS dark purple raspberry shade. Paired with the shimmer, it is so pretty!
Sadly it was raining (but not because we’re in a drought and kinda need the water) while I was swatching this release so I wasn’t able to get them out in the sunlight. However, even in my indoor lighting, the holographic was super strong.
My photos show Do You Like Scary Movies? in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I think this will likely be a 22-3 coater depending on personal preference. For personal wear, I would wear this one in 2 coats. The third coat does deepen the base as well as making this 100% opaque but it’s definitely passable in 2 coats.

Night Owl Lacquer – Atmosphere & Suspense
Inspiration: Lorraine Warren
Description: a pale grey filled with orange/copper/gold/green crystal chameleon flakes and holographic micro flakies.
Atmosphere & Suspense also had a fantastic formula. I love love LOVE pale grey polishes like this one. I would say this is one of those pale greys where I kinda think of it as being borderline dirty white (in a good way, this is just where my brain goes). Also, I feel like a ghostly grey polish is perfect for Lorraine Warren!
The flakies in here all spread out very evenly and easily without giving off any texture. These will look amazeballs with a matte top coat btw!
My photos show Atmosphere & Suspense in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I do think this will likely be a solid 3 coater. I had a few light spots in 2 coats so maybe if you aren’t super picky, apply carefully or even have short nails this might be ok in 2 but I think it’s likely a 3 coater.
Nothing in here wil be difficult to remove but as per usual, the flakies will be messy.

Moonshine Mani – Get Out of the Water
Inspiration: Susan Backlinie of Jaws
Description: an ocean blue filled with red/gold/green shimmer, black micro flakes, and iridescent flakes shifting red/gold/green and sapphire/aqua/green
Get Out of the Water had a really great formula. The polish was a bit of a crelly formula so it was just a tiny bit on the sheer side on the first coat. This one does build up really nicely.
The shimmer in here paired with all of the flakies give this an oceany/color shifty kinda vibe. Which was really beautiful on the nail and you know perfect for a Jaws inso.
The flakies do not dry down textured and one coat of top coat smoothed it out perfectly for me. Again, these are going to look fantastic with a matte top coat. I love the black micro flakies in particular!
My photos show Get Out Of The Water in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Nothing in here dried down textured nor will it be difficult to remove.
