RIP Bulbasaur
Inspiration: the time Sarah bought a Halloween Bulbasaur to decorate the workshop with, only for it to fall off the table 5 minutes later and break.
Description: a muted green with black to blue multichrome flakes
Price: $13.50
RIP Bulbasaur had a really good formula. The base didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application issues. This polish is on the more sheer side so you will want to build it up for the most opacity.
I LOVE the flakies in this polish! They spread out very evenly without giving off any texture. The base color for this polish is like a sheer murky green, so not really my favorite thing ever color wise. You will have obvious VNL with this polish in 3 coats.
My photos show RIP Bulbasaur in 3 coats plus both glossy and matte top coat. Because I wasn’t really feeling the base color, I opted to also swatch this polish in 1 coat over a olive green creme (Night Owl Lacquer’s Olive Me Loves).
Suspish
Inspiration: by one of our favorite people to listen to when in the workshop, we made a color we hope Bailey would approve of!
Description: an eerie gray-blue base full of glowing blue shimmer
Price: $12
Suspish had a really great formula. The color on this one is kinda weird? I would call it grey-ish? Honestly I didn’t really like the base color on this polish but the shimmer? That is really stunning!
The shimmer was so strong that mainly what you see in person is a really *really* strong glowy blue shimmer. The shimmer doesn’t show any brush strokes.
My photos show Suspish in 3 coats plus top coat. I also swatched it in 1 coat over a grey creme (Holo Taco‘s Duct Tape Grey).
