Hey friends! Remember yesterday when I said there were going to be 3 blog posts coming up featuring Bee’s Knees Lacquer? This is blog post #2. Along with the Radio Rental collection, the All The Polishes group custom, this brand is releasing quite a few things this month!
These polishes will be available this Friday on the Bee’s Knees Lacquer website. As always, links and sale info can be found at the end of the blog post.

Hurricane Fiona
Description: a rich pinky red base with extra sparkly blue to purple shimmer
Price: $13
Charity: Direct Relief
Hurricane Fiona had a fantastic formula. This polish is in a jelly base so you will want to build it up for the most opacity. The base color paired with the shimmer is so pretty in person!
The shimmer was super strong in here, it wasn’t a super color shifty polish but it was still very beautiful. I did have VNL with this one after 3 coats.
My photos show Hurricane Fiona in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I was concerned about this one staining me but I didn’t experience any staining with it.
Jackson
Description: a teal base with super fine particle aqua to blue to purple multichrome shimmer
Price: $13
Charity: Cooperation Jackson
Jackson had a fantastic formula. The base didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application issues. I was a little surprised that the base for this polish was so opaque. I expected it to be sheerer and more jelly like, but it had really great coverage. This is the most opaque out of the 3 charity polishes.
The shimmer in here was as described. There were a lot of brush strokes when the polish was wet but most of them disappear as the polish dries. After the polish is dry, if you look for brush strokes you will see hints of them but you will really have to search for them.
My photos show Jackson in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Removal won’t be difficult and I didn’t have any issues with staining.
Pakistan
Description: a dark green on the border of teal with red to green shimmer
Price: $13
Charity: Friends of Indus Hospital
Pakistan also had a fantastic formula. The base was a bit sheerer than Jackson so even in 3 coats, I did still have some obvious VNL. But wow, the shimmer in here was really beautiful!
I would personally call this one a teal base and not a forrest green but that’s just me. Whatever the base color, paired with the shimmer it was really really beautiful. The shimmer had a red, gold to green color shift and I didn’t see any brush strokes through the shimmer.
My photos show Pakistan in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Removal won’t be diffiocult and I didn’t experience any staining.

Gorgeous swatches! How close is Fiona to Agent Silverbow? (I’m still going to buy it, because charity. And it’s beautiful. But still just wondering 😉)

Thanks Becky! Sadly I do not have that one to compare. I could have sword that I did but it’s not listed in my archive

Oh, darn! I thought you did too. Someone else must have swatched it then, because I remember being excited that I got one I’d seen swatched. Oh, well. Like I said, I’m getting it anyway so I can do my own comparison. 😉 But I was curious.
