Perhaps I’ll Turn You Into a Toad

Perhaps I’ll Turn You Into a Toad had a great formula. It was on the thicker side of normal but I found it applied very easily. The olive base was very dark so in low lighting, this will look like a greenish black. I asked my husband what color he thought it was and he said it was black. Personally, I could tell that it wasn’t black, black but I also knew that there was green in here.
The multichrome was as described. I believe the black color shift is what makes this look so close to black on the nail.
The reflective glitters in here were very sparkly. The different colored glitters give this an almost holographic look on the nail. To be honest, until I read the description I thought I was seeing holo in here.
To my eye, the yellow reflective glitters stood out the most. That and silver were the colors my eyes were picking up in the reflects. The glitters do give this polish quite a bit of texture so I would recommend pairing this polish with a glitter smoothing top coat. I used Smooth Moves by KBShimmer.
My photos show Perhaps I’ll Turn You Into a Toad in 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. I would actually recommend wearing this in only 2 coats. Due to the thicker formula, a third coat makes the nail a little bulky in my opinion.
Removal will be on the messy and difficult side if you try to scrub this off. Soaking the polish off or using a peel off base coat will give you the easiest (and cleanest) removal.
