Adored Colors Flowers Collection

Hey friends! Today I am sharing some new releases from Adored Colors. This is a beautiful 2 piece release called the Flowers Collection. I also have a wax melt by this brand to share. Sunlit Fields

Description: a grass green polish filled with lime green holo microglitter and lime green and sunflower yellow chunky glitters.

Sunlit Fields had a great formula. It didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application issues. The chunky hex glitters required a little fishing to get out of the bottle but the smaller glitters came out easily on their own. I also kept the bottle upside down between coats.

I swatched this polish in 3 coats on its own. I had some VNL but it largely distracted from the shimmery base and the sparkle from the glitters. This polish can also be used as a topper.

To completely smooth this out, I used 2 coats of top coat. This may or may not have been necessary. I felt like the larger glitters were going to dry textured so I went in for 2 coats just to make sure. Removal will be difficult due to all of the glitters in this polish.

Sunflower Vibes

Description: a dark yellow base with sunflower yellow holo microglitters.

Sunflower Vibes had a pretty good formula. It was on the more streaky side but I didn’t have any other application issues. The streaks do mellow out once you add top coat. Unless you bring this up to your face, they won’t be as noticeable. It didn’t feel overly thick or thin.

I will note, that this one doesn’t like to be overworked. The brush is wide enough that you can apply this quickly without needing to use too many strokes. The glitters spread out evenly and easily on their own without needing to do anything special. I wasn’t able to get this one outside but under my normal indoor lighting, the glitters looked more iridescent than holographic. The base was pretty opaque so the glitters weren’t super in your face sparkly but more of a subtle sparkle.

I think this will be a solid 3 coater on pretty much everyone. Shorter nails might be ok in 2 with really careful application. 1 coat of top coat smoothed this out completely. I didn’t have any problems with staining. Removal might be a little tricky due to the glitters.

Wax Melt

This wax melt had a beautiful scent! The main scent that I was getting was floral and I swear my nose was picking up some lemon/citrus but we all know my nose sometimes picks up scents that aren’t there haha. It had a wonderful throw. I used 1 cube for the warmer in my nail room and this had an amazing throw. I had this going initially for about 4 hours and even after I turned off the warmer, the whole room smelled like flowers.

Since trying this one out, I have since put it in warmers in all of our bathrooms and it’s just a very happy summery scent.
