Purchased By Me, affiliate links used

Hey friends! Today’s first blog post is for Zoya’s November Color Of The Month nail polish. Despite the polishes in this release being limited edition and kind of a pain to acquire, I have really liked them a lot.

This polish is available right now on the Zoya website. How long it will be available is unknown but I don’t anticipate it being available by December. My link to the Zoya website is an affiliate link, if you use the link for your first purchase you can get $5 off your order.

If you would like to see how this polish looks in natural lighting, be sure to check out my live swatch video.

Zoya is a US based mainstream brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 10 free, vegan and cruelty free.

Amaris

Description: a blue leaning teal with holographic glitter

Amaris I was really happy to see a holographic glitter be Zoya’s pick for CoTM. Formula wise it was very much on the thicker side but I found application pretty easy.

The base on this polish is tinted which I am best going to describe as a blue leaning teal with a slight hint of grey. It has a tendency to photograph more blue than teal.

The glitters appear to be silver holographic micro glitters. The formula of this polish reminds me of several of the glitter polishes from Zoya’s fall collection from this year. Color wise, it seems to be a bluer version of Lennon.

I am going to call this a 2-3 coater depending on application style. I worked the polish a little bit more than typical to get it opaque on me in two coats. I knew I was going to need multiple coats of top coat to smooth the glitters out so I didn’t want to add a third coat and add more bulk to my nails.

My photos show Amaris in 2 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. I opted to pair this with the Salon Perfect Glitter Gloss before my quick dry top coat (KBShimmer Clearly On Top). Depending on how thick your top coat is, you might need a third coat to smooth everything out.

Here is a side by side of Amaris and Lennon. Amaris is darker and more opaque.

All Colors Of The Month polishes are limited edition so it is unknown how long this will be available for. At the time of posting, none of that past CoTM polishes are still in stock. Yeah, that bums me out too.
