Zoya Color Of The Month March & April 2024 Swatches & Review

Zoya Color Of The Month March & April 2024 Swatches & Review

Purchased, affiliate links used

Continuing my track record on posting these Zoya Colors Of The Month polishes kinda late (but still available!) I have both the March and April colors to share with you all today.

At the time of posting, both polishes are still available and Zoya is doing an Earth Day sale! Candy isn’t part of the sale but I think previous CoTM and the rest of the website are. If you would like to pick this polish up consider using my affiliate link, it will save you $5 off your first order with Zoya.

Yes, my nails are in fact two different lengths in these swatches as they were done about a month apart.

Zoya is a US based mainstream brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 10 free, vegan and cruelty free.

Candy

Description: A white pink candy creme that goes beyond the typical pastel palette

Candy had a fantastic formula, just slightly on the thicker side but the kind of thickness that makes something very opaque. It self levels a tiny bit on the slower side but not bad at all.

This is a BRIGHT pink, I would dare call it a neon pastel pink. It’s just a tiny bit brighter in person than it’s looking on me. This is one of those colors that will make your skin look more tanned than it normally does aka the best pedicure color.

My photos show Candy in 2 coats plus glossy top coat.

I will fully admit, that I am a little bit salty that the April CoTM is yet another pink creme after Zoya just released 3 new pinks earlier in the month. This isn’t a dupe for those pinks but 4 pink cremes is a lot for one month.

Compared to Zoya’s Fleur (Zoya Bloom Spring 2024)

Compared to Yohano (Beachy Brights Summer 2023)

Compared to Orly’s Burst Your Bubblegum (Orly Breathable Sweet Retreat Spring/Summer 2023)

I also wanted to pull out one of my favorite pinks from Night Owl Lacquer, Persist. Lite & Bright Collection

Lucky

Description: a celebration of vibrant leaf green, infused with gold and blue glitter, and a fine sprinkling of magic fairy dust that captures the light and the essence of spring

Lucky had a good but pretty thick formula. Not so thick that I needed to add thinner (unlike the glitter polishes from the Zoya Spring collection…) but still thick. I think that next time I reach for this one, I will have to add some thinner.

While Zoya does say that there are blue glitters in here, it’s really hard to pick out glitter colors with the naked eye. Or at least with my naked eyes. I was seeing various shades of green and a few dashes of yellow/gold.

The glitters in here are VERY top coat hungry. Despite me using a glitter smoother and a thick coat of top coat, my nails still were pretty textured.

My photos show Lucky in 2 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. My reasoning for doing two coats was because of how thick this polish was. I do think it’s going to be a 2-3 coater depending on your personal preference.

Removal for this polish will be on the more difficult side if you choose to scrub this polish off. Use the soak off method for the easiest removal experience.
