Howdy nail friends! Since we are halfway through January without Zoya mentioning a thing about Colors Of The Month for 2024, I am thinking that this polish might be the last Color Of The Month from the brand? Which is a bummer because I was actually liking these releases.
December’s CoTM is a stunning golden glitter, if I had swatched it sooner, it probably would have made it onto my favorites list for 2023 but sadly I was so in to my DIY girlie adventures I completely forgot to swatch it until last week. Good news is that this is still available on the Zoya website!
Zoya is a US based mainstream brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 10 free, vegan and cruelty free.
Vienna

Vienna had a fantastic formula. As both a gold polish and a glitter lover, I was so damn excited to pick this polish up! I had thought it was going to be similar glitter wise to Amaris (November 2023 CoTM) or the other holographic glitters (think the Fall collection) Zoya came out with last year but it has more variety in glitters.
It’s slightly less holographic than the above mentioned glitters but that’s only because this polish has a lot more going on than “just” silver holographic glitter. You get an overall very metallic look on the nail but a ton of sparkle from the variety of glitters and shimmers.
Despite having a ton of components, the base on this polish didn’t feel overly thick, it was a little thinner than I was expecting. All of the glitters spread out evenly, you do get some texture so doubling up on top coat will be necessary for a smooth finish.
My photos show Vienna in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I am going to call this one a 2-3 coater depending on personal preference. I was this close to calling it in two but decided to add a third because well, glitter.
Use the soak off method or a peel off base coat to remove this one!

Sale Information
At the time of posting, Vienna is still available on the Zoya website for $12 USD and includes Zoya’s Z Wide Brush. All of Zoya’s colors of the month are limited edition and don’t seem to get restocked once they sell out.
