Hey friends! Super quick post today for a new quad by Zombie Claw Polish. This quad was inspired by the show, Miraculous and originally released this past weekend during the Polish And Beauty Expo but overpours are now available on the Zombie Claw Polish website. I’m not sure if this quad will have a restock or not so definitely jump on these if they interest you!
Zombie Claw Polish is a US based indie brand. Their polishes are handmade, 10 free, vegan and cruelty free.
Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!
Description: A multichrome blue to red to purple with scattered holo
Price: $12 for 13ml
Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise! had an amazing formula. This was very opaque on the first coat. If you go in for thicker coats, this can be opaque in 1 coat. In person I was mainly seeing a navy blue to purple to a reddish burgundy. The holographic in this is pretty strong as well. The multichrome pigment does show brush strokes.
This polish does dry down dull so you will want top coat for a glossy finish. I used 2 coats for my photos. Nothing in here dried textured or will be overly difficult to remove.
Pollen, Buzz On!
Description: A yellow base loaded with red-orange-copper flakies and black shreds.
Price: $12 for 13ml
Pollen, Buzz On! applied really beautifully. It didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application issues. The black shreds really pop from the yellow base! Depending on how the black shreds lay, they *might* dry down textured. I’ve found with these shreds, usually, if I have texture it’s only in 1 or 2 spots.
This will be a 2-3 coater depending on preference. I really liked the jelly look this had in 2 coats but I used 3 coats for my photos. I used 1 thick coat of top coat to smooth this out completely. Removal will be difficult due to the shreds.
Plagg, Claws Out
Description: A black base with gold and green glitters with lots and lots of green multichrome flakies
Price: $12 for 13ml
Plagg, Claws Out had a beautiful jelly formula. It goes on really smoothly and evenly. There seems to be some shred like glitters in this that dry slightly textured. This polish has a really beautiful holographic sparkle to it.
This will be a 2-3 coater depending on preference. I think shorter nails could get away with 2 coats. I had some pretty obvious VNL so I used 3 coats for my photos.
Depending on how the shards lay on your nails, you’re going to want to go in for 1-2 coats of top coat. I used 1 thick coat of top coat. Removal will be on the tricky side due to the glitters.
Tikki, Spots On!
Description: A black to red thermal that is loaded with red-orange-gold flakies, blue multichrome flakies, and black shreds
Price: $12 for 13ml
Tikki Spots On! had a great formula. It starts out fairly sheer but builds up nicely. Like the previous polishes, the flakies and shreds spread out evenly and easily on their own. The shreds might poke up depending on how they lay on your nail.
The thermal aspect started changing on me right away. The cold state is a deep burgundy leaning black and then warm state is a coral leaning red shade. My photos show Tikki in 3 coats plus top coat. The black shreds didn’t dry textured on me so I only needed 1 coat of top coat. Removal will be a little tricky but not overly difficult.

A note on thermal/solar polishes…
I want to note that thermal and solar polishes do have a shelf life on how long they will change colors. Generally, they are guaranteed to change colors for 6-12 months. My oldest thermal that still transitions is from 2018. Be careful when shipping thermals in the summer and winter months as extremes in temperatures can kill them in transit.
To get the most out of a thermal (all nail polish really) you’ll want to store them in a cool, dark place. I store my thermals with my other nail polish in the Ikea helmers. Once a thermal no longer changes color (aka dies), you can still wear them!
