Happy Valentine’s Day for those of you who celebrate! Ok, I am a day late but these polishes are gorgeous! In truth, I meant to get this post up on Valentine’s day but I was busy in the kitchen making my Valentine something special and time got away from me. This post is for the Valentine’s day trio by Twisting Nether Lacquer. These are available now and they’re on sale! I’ll have all of the details at the end of this post.
If you haven’t heard of this brand before, Twisting Nether Lacquer is a US based indie brand. Their polishes are handmade, 5 free, vegan and cruelty free. They make some really awesome glitter polishes that are my personal favorites.
Disclaimer: I was sent these products as PR in exchange for photographs and an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My photos were taken indoors with daylight/LED bulbs. I used the KB Shimmer Clearly On Top glossy top coat, Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (for glitter polishes) and the Glisten & Glow Matte top coat for my photos.

Final Thoughts
All three of these had the same formula as the only differences were the color of the micro glitters. They did feel just slightly thick from all of the glitter however they applied evenly and easily on the nail. I didn’t have any application issues. They did seem to dry quickly but not so quickly that I had a hard time with the application. These are full coverage glitters so if you use these as toppers, they will probably obscure your base color quite a bit.
These are very holographic and sparkly on the nail. In the live swatch video, I show how these look in natural light. I did notice that the platinum flakies seemed to pop more when these were matte. The platinum flakes seem more visible while glossy on Desire and Lust. I was surprised at how smoothly these dried down. I used 1 coat of top coat and they were perfectly smooth. I won’t be picking favorites as I loved all 3 of these.
Sale Info
The Valentine’s day trio is available now on the Twisting Nether Lacquer website. They are $10 each. Kasi (owner/maker) is really good at taking restock requests. So if these (or any polish on the site) are out of stock by the time you get to the website, just message her. I may or may not have when I saw the St Patrick’s day polish I had wanted was out.
There is also a sale going on now if you use code HAPPY15, you can get 15% off your order. Twisting Nether makes some of my favorite glitter polishes so I already picked up a few polishes from this sale. I’m not sure when the sale is over so I recommend heading over sooner rather than later.
