My Thoughts
This collection was really beautiful! I swatched all of these in 1 coat over a black creme (Heather’s Hues Shadow) and then on my ring finger, I sponged them on with a makeup wedge. These are all very dense flakie toppers so they should all be buildable in 2-3 coats. None of the polishes felt thick and I didn’t have any application issues.
I found the gold topper leans a little greenish gold in my photos but in person, it looked gold. The silver topper looked like crumpled up aluminum foil sponged on which I really liked. I found as toppers, these all dried down smoothly. Sponged on, they felt slightly textured so I did go in for 1 thick coat of top coat. If I hadn’t been rushing, I might have tried out using 2 coats of top coat.
My top picks from this release will be Rose Gold, Alloy, and Silver but I thought the entire collection was wonderful.
