Prugly But Make It Sparkly ✨ (China Glaze Trendsetter)

Purchased by me, affiliate links used

I know I am a little behind on posting photos of what has been on my Cindy hand lately but I have honestly really been loving posting non-nail polish content over on my YouTube channel. Between making apple pie filling and DIY projects, it’s been fun! I am hoping that the new blog will be up and running fairly soon.

If you missed the memo, I LOVE prugly polishes. I have had China Glaze Trendsetter in my collection for quite a while but I couldn’t remember the last time I wore it, if I ever did at all, so I pulled it out for this mani. This mani was actually partially inspired by Rosev.nails over on Instagram. They tagged me in their post wearing one of my collab polishes with Sweet & Sour Lacquer called The Nicole over a prugly brown and I LOVED IT.

I didn’t want to do a straight copy/paste on their mani so I decided to use China Glaze Ugly Sweater Party as an accent nail.

I forgot how much I loved this topper. Darlene originally gifted it to me last year and then we used it for a giveaway. Due to demand, it was then released to the public.

I honestly forgot how fun this topper is. Each time I wear it, it looks slightly different due to the million different chunky glitters.

My only complaint about this manicure is that I wish I didn’t add The Nicole on my accent nail as the glitters were so big that they overshadowed the smaller glitters of Ugly Sweater Party.

Trendsetter and Ugly Sweater Party are both discontinued China Glaze polishes but you should be able to find them on second hand places like eBay or Mercari. The Nicole is still currently available on the Sweet & Sour Lacquer website, use my affiliate code SweetNicole10 to save 10% off the entire website!
