Hey friends! Today I have a super quick post for the June Project Artistry box. I have swatched polishes for this box before but I don’t think I’ve ever done a blog post for it. This is one of the newer indie monthly collabs but this one is based out of Canada and run by Sarah of Saki Cosmetics.
The theme for June is Under the Sea vs Sky High. Tanya of My Indie Polish went with the Under The Sea theme. This box goes live tomorrow and I will have all of the sale details at the end of this post.
Project Artistry is a monthly indie collab based in Canada. Each month, there are 2 opposing themes that handmade indie makers submit items for. The themes are a versus, and the winning theme gets a chance to come back later in the year.
My Indie Polish – Pink Corals
Description: a pink jelly with white flakies and some holo sparkle too.

Pink Corals had a great jelly formula. It applied a little sheer so you will want to build it up for opacity. The pink base is what I would call a medium pink. It’s not quite a pastel but it’s not a super bright pink either. The white flakies and holo look so pretty in this base! I found that both the flakies and holo look similar to shards/crescent moons, so they don’t look like your typical flakie. I never know what the official name for this type of flakie is but I really love how they look.
I used 3 coats for my photos. Shorter nails might be good in 2 coats but the third coat does deepen the color a tad bit. This polish dries down fairly smooth but 1 coat of top coat smooths it out completely. Removal will be typical flakie polish removal, so not as hard as glitter but messier than say a creme or shimmer.
