Inspiration: Samus Aran from Metroid Fusion
Description: A bright red leaning coral polish with green-gold-orange shifting shimmer, rainbow fantasy flakies and gold flakies.

Her Own Worse Enemy had a great jelly formula. I found this polish leaned more red than coral but it was gorgeous nonetheless! While I never played the retro Metroid games, this does seem like a Samus red to me. The sheer base really lets the flakies and shimmer glow. The flakies all spread out evenly and easily on their own without needing to do anything special. I used 3 coats for my photos.
I think this one will have some VNL on natural nails depending on how bright your free edge is. My natural free edge was pretty short when I was swatching this one so I had a hard time telling just how obvious VNL would be. Nothing in here dries textured and removal will be typical flakie removal.

Color Spectrum Polish – Duck Hunt
Inspiration: Duck Hunt
Description: An orange jelly with orange & blue dot glitters, white hex glitters, green glass glitters and black square glitters
Price: $12 for 13ml Cap: 50 bottles
Duck Hunt had a great formula. It is a jelly so it will need to be built up. This has a ton of glitters in it and for the large dots I found myself dabbing them in to place in a few spots. I didn’t need to do any fishing for them though.
For comparison, on my middle nail, I didn’t hold the bottle upside down between coats and for the other nails I did. I think the glitter payoff is nearly the same so I don’t think it’s necessary. I was really surprised at how smooth this one dried down. I wasn’t getting any noticeable texture before adding top coat. I used 3 coats for my photos. Removal will be tricky so I recommend soaking this off.
