The Polished Gamers Box aka PGB is a bi-monthly collaboration between handmade indie brands. Each month has a different theme and themes are always related to gaming.
Color Spectrum Polish – Jambeliever
Inspiration: The Jambeliever
Description: A purple to gold multichrome magnetic with purple aurora, scattered silver reflective glitter and glows in the dark!

Jambeliever had a fantastic formula. The base felt just slightly on the thicker side but I found it very easy to work with. This polish somehow has *everything* in it but didn’t feel super busy on the nail. I really love the combination of everything altogether.
The reflective glitters do give off some texture so to get this perfectly smooth, you will want to double up on your top coat. I opted to pair this one with a glitter smoothing top coat before my quick dry top coat and that smoothed this out perfectly. The magnetic pigment in here was very strong and I had no problems magnetizing it both with a ring magnet and a bar magnet.
My photos show Jambeliever in 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. This polish is opaque in 2 coats but I used a third coat to magnetize the polish. Removal will likely be on the more difficult side if you opt to scrub it off.

Geeky Bee’s Nail Colors – Little Pink Cosplayer
Inspiration: Sword Kirby
Description: A blue edged bubblegum pink polish with green sparks
Price: $10 for 15ml | Cap: 40
Little Pink Cosplayer had a wonderful formula. It was just slightly on the thicker side but I found application very easy. The base color was as described.
I found the polish itself has an almost metallic look on the nail. To my eye, I would say that there was a blue shimmer and a larger particle green shimmer. The shimmers don’t show brush strokes. While this finish isn’t my favorite, I have a hard time not liking a bubblegum pink shade.
My photos show Little Pink Cosplayer in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. This will likely be a 2-3 coater depending on your nail length and application.

Night Owl Lacquer – Crystal Shards
Inspiration: The N64 Kirby Game ‘The Crystal Shards’
Description: a clear base filled with silver reflective glitter pigment, pink/gold/green color shifting shimmer and crystal chameleon flakes

Crystal Shards had a fantastic formula. This polish is jam PACKED with glitters and flakies but somehow doesn’t feel overly thick at all. All of those components spread out very evenly but they do give off some texture.
The glitter and flakie combo in this polish is really really stunning. Since this is in a clear base, in 1 coat this will work great as a topper. Personally, I really liked this one in 2 coats on its own/
My photos show Crystal Shards in 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. The reflective glitters will be very difficult to remove by scrubbing so I would suggest the soak off method or a peel off base coat for removal.

Swamp Gloss – Meta Knight
Inspiration: Meta Knight
Description: A lightened violet crelly with neon yellow pink and purple and blue hexes and navy hexes

Meta Knight had a really great formula. This one starts off extremely sheer so you will definitely want to build it up for the most opacity. Whether or not you reach full opacity with this one will depend on how thick of a coat you go in for. If you go in for thin coats you will likely have obvious VNL.
The glitters all spread out evenly and easily without giving off very much texture. One coat of top coat seemed to smooth it out completely for me.
My photos show Meta Knight in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I opted to go in for 2 normal thickness coats and then one slightly thicker third coat to bring up the opacity. Removal will be on the more difficult side if you opt to scrub this one off.
