Hey friends! Today I am sharing the newest nail polish collection from OPI. For Spring 2023 we have that Me, Myself and OPI collection. The theme of this collection is technology. As far as I can gather at least.
We all know spring collections are some of my least favorite so I went into swatching this one with some trepidation. Thankfully, I was not disappointed by this release and several polishes were actually right up my alley!
I did purchase this collection and it looks like the promotion for it has started in full effect so it is popping up at retailers now. If you would like to pick up this release, do consider using some of the links that I have shared towards the end of the post.

My live swatch video is live for channel members now, it goes live for the public Saturday, February 11th at 3PM Eastern time. If you would like to join my channel membership for early access (and other perks) to videos, click here.
OPI is a US based mainstream brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles and 3 free.
Blinded By The Ring Light
Description: A pastel yellow creme
Blinded By The Ring Light had a great formula. I know, I was also surprised by that. It self leveled perfectly and it didn’t feel chalky at ALL. It was a little bit streaky however but not unusually so for a pastel yellow.
This is a very soft pastel yellow. It isn’t so light that it can be mistaken for white and it’s also light enough that I have 0 interest in it. It’s pretty but I am a bright sunshine yellow kinda gal.
The coverage for this polish was a little patchy. I think it’s likely to be a 3 coater as I had several light spots in two coats.

Clear Your Cash
Description: a honeydew green creme
Clear Your Cash had a fantastic formula. This was one of the colors that I was most excited about. I had thought it was a Kermit the Frog green, sadly it is more of a pale pea soup green.
While I don’t hate the color, I actually really like it. I am disappointed that this wasn’t a Kermit green but it’s a fun color on the nails.
Coverage was fantastic, it self leveled like a dream and I only needed 2 coats to reach opacity.

Data Peach
Description: a pearly peach
Data Peach also had a fantastic formula. You do get some brush strokes through the shimmer since this a more pearlescent finish.
Color me surprised, shocked AND amazed but I LOVED the polish. It has a very peachy coloring with an almost golden glow from the shimmer. So peachy pink + gold shimmer = how to get Nicole to like pearlescent finishes.
Like the other pearly finishes in this release, you do need to build them up to reach almost full opacity. I had hints of VNL with this one after three coats.

I Meta My Soulmate
Description: A baby pink pearl nail polish
I Meta My Soulmate is the first of the questionably named polished. It had a great pearlescent formula. It was on the thinner side but I didn’t have any issues with application.
You do get obvious brush strokes through the pearly finish. If that bothers you, you’ll want to float your brush and try to keep it straight. I almost liked the softness of this shade of pink but my dislike for pearly pinks overrode my love for pink.

I Sold My Crypto
Description: A vibrant amethyst with a dazzling silver shimmer
I Sold My Crypto had a fantastic formula. It starts off and stays fairly sheer so you will want to build this one up to get the most opacity.
The base color on this polish was gorgeous but overall I was kind meh about it. The shimmer effect is pretty and has a sparkle to it.
My photos show I Sold My Crypto in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. This will likely be a solid 3 coater to reach even coverage.
Incognito Mode
Description: A purple mauve crème
Incognito Mode had a great formula. It was very opaque but not quite a one coater. It self leveled perfectly and had 10/10 application.
I found myself really digging this shade. I don’t always love mauves but when they have a bit more of a dusty quality, that catches my attention!

Left Your Texts On Red
Description: A bright ruby red with a shimmer just as vibrant
Left Your Texts On Red had a fantastic jelly-like formula. It started off a little sheer but the coverage was even. If you don’t have much of a free edge or don’t care about obvious VNL, the polish is passable in two coats.
The shimmer was a little underwhelming. It’s a blink and you miss it type of shimmer. It gave the polish some sparkle but I wasn’t really a fan.
My photos show Left Your Texts On Red in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I added a third coat just to add some opacity.
NFTease Me
Description: A fun light blue with a slight turquoise undertone
NFTease Me had a really great formula. I don’t know why but I expected this to be a little chalky in application, but it wasn’t.
I found in person, this polish appears to be a light turquoise but it photographs more like a light blue. I did attempt to color correct my photos to show the turquoise but honestly I couldn’t get it 100% to what I was seeing in person. It’s subtle but obvious all at the same time.

Pink In Bio
Description: A creamy off-white with a slight pink undertone
Pink In Bio had a pretty good formula. It didn’t feel chalky and it self leveled really nicely. It is a very streaky polish however so to minimize the streaks, floating the brush is your best bet for even application.
I found with floating my brush, I still needed three coats to reach even coverage but it was even. I didn’t expect to get even coverage with this one. If you are less picky than me about light spots I can see this being passable in 2 coats.
I would have called this an incredibly pale pink shade. I can see why OPI is going with off-white with a pink undertone, it is a very pale pink shade in person.

Silicon Valley Girl
Description: a vibrant tangerine orange!
Silicon Valley Girl had a great formula. It was a little streaky at first and self leveled slightly slower than I expected. However, it self leveled nonetheless and that fixed the streakiness for me.
Coverage was just shy of being a one coater. Given the streakiness at first, that was a huge surprise! I love this shade of orange. When I had this polish on, I got several comments on it. It’s super bright and fun but not neon bright.

Spring Break The Internet
Description: a shimmery hot pink
Spring Break The Internet had a fantastic formula. I loved the base color on this polish! It was on the thinner side so it is likely to be a 3 coater.
The shimmer is not quite a blink and you miss it shimmer but it’s not a crazy shifty shimmer one either. It has a bluish purpley kinda color to it.
My photos show Spring Break The Internet in 3 coats plus glossy top coat.
Switch To Portrait Mode
Description: A powder pink pearl
Switch To Portrait Mode had a fantastic formula. It has a very pearlized finish so you do get a lot of brush strokes with it.
This reminds me of the old school pearlized polishes which I do not like. At all. Between the base color (a odd pink) and the pearly finish, it’s just not for me.
I do think this is another likely 3 coater if you want the most opacity. Coverage is pretty even so it might be passable in
Final Thoughts
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, I went into swatching these thinking that I was going to be bored and let down. I just don’t really love Spring collections. This being a spring collection AND having some odd choices for the polish names just didn’t fill me with excitement.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed several of the colors. Data Peach was a big surprise since I don’t vibe with that type of finish. I also really liked Silicon Valley Girl, Spring Break The Internet, and Clear The Cash.
