Hi friends! I have been nursing the mother of all migraines (definitely exaggerating but man my head HURTS) all day today but I am trying my best to be productive when all I want to do is take a nap and eat ice cream.
Today’s blog post is for the March Little Box Of Horrors shop. For March, the theme is Classic Horror. As a huge horror movie fan, I am pretty pumped about the theme this month. LBOH is one of the indie collabs and the themes always get me to spend money that I shouldn’t.

The Little Box Of Horrors is a bimonthly indie collab box. Each box is inspired by a horror, science fiction, supernatural, and/or mystery theme.
Night Owl Lacquer – Haunting
Inspiration: The Haunting from 1963
Description: a clear base filled with black reflective glitter pigment and glowy green/teal/purple/fuchsia iridescent flakes.

Haunting had a fantastic but thicker formula. It was around the thickness that I would expect from a flakie topper. I didn’t have any application issues.
I loved how sparkly the reflective glitters made this polish! As is my usual experience with black reflective glitter, I could see black glitters on my nails, but the reflects I saw were all silver.
All of the flakies spread out very evenly and easily as did the reflective glitters. The reflective glitters do give this polish some texture. I opted to pair it with the Salon Perfect Glitter Gloss before using the Night Owl Lacquer Patience Not Required quick dry top coat.
My photos show Haunting in 2 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. If your nails are significantly longer than mine, you will likely want to go in for 3 coats to cover up VNL. This is sheer enough in one coat to be used as a topper.
