BCB Lacquers – Witches Broom
Theme: Galaxy
Description: a crimson red polish with a red/orange shifting shimmer, red/orange/green flakes and holo.
Price: $13.00 for 16.5ml Cap: 100
Witches Broom had a beautiful jelly formula. The shimmer and flakies look SO gorgeous in this base! The flakies do not dry textured. The holographic sparkle really comes out in natural lighting!
This had good coverage in 2 coats but to get the color you see in the bottle, you will want to go in for 3 coats. I used 3 coats for my photos. I didn’t have any problems with staining.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer – Your Mom
Theme: Ghost Adventurers
Description: a smoky pine green with glowy purple shimmer
Price: $12 for 15ml Cap: None
Your Mom had a great formula. If I hadn’t had the polish description in front of me when I was swatching this, I would have called it a greyish green base. In the bottle, you can definitely see the green but I found on the nail it looked more greyed out.
The shimmer is very obvious in normal room lighting. I found it had a *slight* color shift to it going from a pinkish tone to purple. This will be a 2-3 coater depending on nail length and personal preference. I used 3 coats for my photos.

Color Spectrum Polish – Stone That The Builder Refused
Theme: Bob Marley
Description: a grey base with micro holo and silver microflakies.
Price: $12 for 13ml Cap: 100
Stone That The Builder Refused had a really great formula. I found the base color is a cement grey in person. The micro holo flakes (?) are very small so they won’t give off any texture.
I found in the holographic looked mainly silver in the lighting in my house and then I really saw the rainbow sparkles when I brought it out into the sunlight. I thought for sure this was going to be a 3 coater as it started off pretty sheer but it built up for me in 2 coats.

Heather’s Hues – I Can’t Move On
Theme: The Handmaid’s Tale
Description: a rich deep red-violet base filled with black to red multichrome flakes
Price: $12.50 for 15ml Cap: None
I Can’t Move On had a great formula. It was slightly on the thicker side but I didn’t have any application issues. This polish is a very vampy shade in person and the flakies add to that effect. The flakes are very small so they do not dry textured at all.
I think this polish will be a 3 coater on most people. This applies very evenly so if you don’t mind VNL, it is passable in 2 coats. I used 3 coats for my photos. I found the third coat deepened the color to what I was seeing in the bottle.

LynB Designs – Luxurious Raccoon
Theme: Animal Magnetism
Description: a rust base with purple to green shifting magnetic pull, red to orange shifting crystal flakies, and a hint of holo sparkle
Price: $13 for 15ml Cap: 100
Luxurious Raccoon had a really great formula. The magnetic pigment in this is very strong and I didn’t have any issues getting it magnetized. The flakes all spread evenly and easily without giving off any texture.
This polish was opaque on me in 2 coats. My photos show it in 2 coats with the second coat magnetized.
Note: I did use a magnetic top coat for the middle nail as I waited too long to magnetize it and had some difficulties. All of the other nails were swatched without the special top coat.

Music City Beauty – Indigo
Theme: Rainbow Brite
Description: a deep purple 5D magnetic with silver magnetic pigment and dark purple micro flakies
Price: $12 for 15ml Cap:150
Indigo had a great formula. This polish is EXTREMELY opaque and will be a 1 coater on most people. The magnetic pigment is strong. This polish looks really amazing in person.
I found that on me, this polish looks drastically different with top coat than it does without. Without top coat, this looks like a blue duochrome. To keep how the more blue duochrome look, you want to top coat with a water-based top coat. I talked to Kim about this and it looks like not everyone who swatched this experienced this phenomenon.
Note: I did experience staining with this polish. The staining seemed to only affect the layer of gel that I had on my nails by natural nails. So I think the staining will only be an issue for those of you who have an overlay or nail enhancments.

Night Owl Lacquer – Shout
Theme: Psych Inspiration: S2E1 ‘American Duos’ Description: this is a black with silver holographic micro flakies and red holographic micro glitters. Price: $12
Shout had a really great formula. The glitters all spread out evenly and easily on their own. This is a full coverage micro glitter/flakie polish.
This one had really great coverage on my short nails in to coat longer nails might potentially need to go in for three coats. This dries down slightly textured but one coat of topcoat seems to smooth it out completely.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited – Gutter Ball
Inspiration: Cosmic Bowling
Description: a purple to pink to gold multichrome with a mix of 4 crystal chameleon flakies, and holographic micro glitters in violet, red, fuchsia and jade
Price: $13 for 15ml Cap: 150
Gutter Ball had a great formula. It was slightly on the thicker side but I didn’t have any application issues. The multichrome is very color shifty. In person I was seeing purple, pink, gold, and green at extreme angles.
I used 2 coats for my photos. Longer nails might need a third coat. This polish dries down fairly smooth so only 1 coat of top coat will be needed for a smooth finish.

Red Eyed Lacquer – Dad’s Club
Theme: Eric Carle Inspiration: Mister Seahorse
Description: A bright pink base with strong pink/orange shifting shimmer
Price: $12.50, Cap: 150
Dad’s Club had a great formula. The shimmer doesn’t show brush strokes when dry and is very color shifty! I can’t stress enough how much I LOVE pink polishes with gold/orange/yellow shimmer! This one is so pretty in person.
I used 3 coats for my photos. It had good coverage in 2 coats but I did have some VNL. That third coat gives full opacity.
