All Mixed Up Lacquers – When It’s Cold Outside
Theme: 80’s Rock Bands
Description: a blue base with purple/blue/green/gold shifting shimmer, hot pink scattered holo, fuschia/pink/gold/lime crystal chameleon flakies
Price: $12.50 for 15ml | Cap: 150
When It’s Cold Outside had a wonderful formula. The base felt a little bit on the thicker side but not at all overly thick or difficult to work with. It also starts off sheer but builds up really nicely.
The holographic glitter was incredibly sparkly and the holo picked up nicely even indoors. The glitters do not seem to dry down super textured but I would still recommend a glitter smoothing top coat for long term wear.
My photos show When It’s Cold Outside in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Coverage was pretty good in 2 coats so I do think shorter nails will be good in 2 coats. Removal won’t be super easy due to the glitters/flakies but it won’t be super difficult either.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer – Worm Belt Demon Mommy
Theme: Demon Slayer (final)
Inspiration: Daki
Description: a grungy green with bright lime iridescent flakes and magenta light reflective glitter
Price: $13.50 for 15ml | Cap: None
Worm Belt Demon Mommy had a good but thicker formula. It starts off pretty sheer so you will want to build this one up to get the most opacity. The opacity does largely come from the flakies and to a lesser degree, the glitters. In 3 coats, there will still be some VNL.
The flakies all spread out very evenly and easily, the glitters do give this one some texture. I opted to pair it with a glitter smoothing top coat before my quick dry top and that smoothed everything out really well.
I was able to see the magenta reflects in person out in natural lighting. The base color paired with the flakies do give this polish some prugly vibes. I loved how the flakies were so bright and glowy. They add the pretty to the ugly IMO.
My photos show Worm Belt Demon Mommy in 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. Removal of course will be on the more difficult side.
Color Spectrum Polish – Front and Center
Theme: Barbie
Inspiration: 1994 Special Edition Holiday Barbie
Description: a gold metallic shimmer with red and green holo glitters
Price: $12.50 for 13ml | Cap: 100
Front and Center had a beautiful formula. It does start off a little bit sheer so you will want to build it up to get the most opacity. This polish looks exactly like Christmas in a bottle.
The gold shimmer is really beautiful and I loved how it looked with the glitters. I am not generally a huge lover of metallic shimmers but apparently gold is the exception to that rule.
The glitters are really small so they do not feel textured on the nail. One coat of top coat smooths everything out perfectly.
My photos show Front And Center in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Longer nails will likely need 3 coats for full opacity. Removal won’t be overly difficult but it will be messy

Crystal Knockout – Small Sky
Theme: Habitat of the Cat
Inspiration: the bright blue skies above the home of the diminutive Andean Mountain Cat
Description: a bright blue metallic with a sky blue glow
Price: $12 for 15ml | Cap: None
Small Sky had a great but thicker formula. It starts off very sheer so again, build it up for the most opacity. Unless you go in for thicker coats, I think this will likely be a solid 3 coater.
I’ll be honest, this one isn’t for me. As I mentioned in the last swatch metallic polishes aren’t really my favorite so while I do love the base color on this, the metallic part didn’t do it for me.
My photos show Small Sky in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I didn’t have any issues on removal.

Night Owl Lacquer – I Smell Snow
Theme: Gilmore Girls
Inspiration: the elation Lorelai feels when she smells the first snow.
Description: an icy periwinkle filled with green/aqua/blue/violet shimmer and holographic flecks
Price: $13 for 15ml | Cap: None
I Smell Snow had a fantastic formula. It does start off sheer but I found it builds up quickly. This wil llikely be a 2-3 coater depending on your nail length.
Both the shimmer and holographic are incredibly strong. In direct lighting, you will get the BOOM holographic and in lower lighting, the shimmer will come out to play. I did notice that in direct lighting it did seem a bit sheerer than it does when the shimmer is super strong.
My photos show I Smell Snow in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. Removal will be easy and messy.

Sassy Sauce Polish – Empress
Theme: Butterflies
Inspiration: a photo of an abstract butterfly
Description: a violet linear holo base with small and large particle shifting aurora pink/copper/gold and blue/purple green shifting aurora flakies
Price: $12 for 15ml | Cap: 150
Empress has a fantastic formula. This polish is VERY holographic. Like BAM BOOM holographic.
It’s sheer on the first coat but built up great. I think most people will likely be good in just 2 coats. I did add a third coat just to cover up the VNL on the clear part of my nail.
My photos show Empress in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. This polish does dry down dull so you will want to add a glossy top coat for a glossy finish.

Duo Do I Make You Thorny
Don’t Ruffle My Truffles
Description: “Do I Make You Thorny?” which is a purple jelly base loaded with pink/purple/gold/green shifting aurora pigment. It will shift through the rainbow in different lighting. In direct light it just sparkles. “Don’t Ruffle My Truffles” which is a light blue tinted base with a pink/copper/gold shimmer and ghost flakies that shift coral/pink/purple/blue/ green. This polish will build up on its own or can be used as a topper. It has many different faces, endless combos.

Do I Make You Thorny had a fantastic formula. This is a polish that stays fairly sheer so you will have VNL with it. However, that sheerness really lets the strong shifty shimmer come out to play!

Don’t Ruffle My Truffles also had a great formula. This is a very sheer polish with a VERY strong shifty shimmer. The flakies make it look even more iridscent on the nail.
I will say, this reminded me of a lighter flakie version to KBShimmer’s Snow Unique (Polish Pickup November 2022) and Bee’s Knees Lacquer Magic Is Life (These Hollow Vows). It is NOT a dupe, the base color is much lighter but the shimmer is very similar.
