Hello friends! Today I am sharing the newest monthly duo by Heather’s Hues. The theme for June is ROY G BIV. The June duo is available right now on the Heather’s Hues website. As always, I’ll have links at the end of the post.
If you are new, each month Heather asks members of her Facebook fan group to submit photos based on a theme and then creates polishes based off of 2 photos. You do not need to be a member of the group to purchase the duo but you will need to be a member to submit and vote on photos.
Heather’s Hues is a US based indie brand. Their polishes are handmade, 5 free, cruelty free and vegan.

Angel Aura
Description: an electric blue jelly packed with a mix of lavender and silver holo glitters, baby blue holo microshreds, and a colorful mix of iridescent and multichrome flakes.
Price: $12.50
Angel Aura had a great formula. It didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application issues. All of the components spread out evenly and easily on their own without needing to do anything special. The blue base is very bright but not *exactly* what I would call a neon but it does glow under black light.
I used 3 coats for my photos. Shorter nails might be good in 2 coats. This doesn’t dry down super textured so I only needed 1 coat of top coat to smooth it out completely. Removal will be on the tricky side due to all of the components. I didn’t have any issues with staining.
Tropical Sunset
Description: a neon pink crelly kissed with a pink-orange-gold shimmer and packed with a mix of glitters in different shades of pink, orange, and aqua, as well as a touch of turquoise and rose metallic microflakes.

Tropical Sunset had a great crelly formula. This is a very bright neon pink! The glitters all spread out evenly and easily on their own without needing to do anything special.
I had really great coverage in 2 coats. I used 3 coats solely because I wanted more glitter. The third coat does deepen the color *slightly*. This does dry down fairly textured from all of the glitters. I used 2 coats of top coat to smooth it out completely. Removal will be tricky from all of those glitters. No issues with staining

Final Thoughts
I loved this month’s duo! I won’t be picking a favorite this month as I just loved both of these.
