Heather’s Hues is a US based indie brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 5 free, cruelty free and vegan friendly.

Beautiful Disaster

Description:  a multichrome shifting from teal to blue to violet to pink that’s filled with reflective glitters and multichrome flakes in lime-green-blue-purple
Price: $12.50

Beautiful Disaster had a fantastic formula. This polish is EXTREMELY color shifty! In person, I was seeing a purple, teal, blue, pink, orange with yellow at extreme angles color shift.

I found this polish looks amazing in EVERY light source. In low light, you will see the multichrome and flakies the best. In bright direct lighting, the reflective glitters will come out to play.

The reflective glitters give this polish a bit of texture. I used a glitter smoothing top coat for my swatches but depending on your own personal preference, you could get away with 1 coat of top coat.

My photos show Beautiful Disaster in 3 coats plus 2 coats of top coat. The reflective glitters give this polish a bit of texture. I used a glitter smoothing top coat for my swatches but depending on your own personal preference, you could get away with 1 coat of top coat.

Good Vibes Only

Description: an indigo jelly kissed with violet and purple holo microglitters and iridescent flakes that shift purple-lime-copper-pink-gold
Price: $12

Good Vibes Only had a great formula. It applied very evenly but being a jelly, it started off a little sheer. The flakies all spread out very evenly and easily without giving off texture. There are a few larger sized flakies in here so ya’ll know that made me very happy!

My photos show Good vibes Only in 3 coats plus top coat. I think shorter nails will be good in 2 coats but if you have much of a free edge, you will likely want to use 3 coats. This polish dries down fairly dull so you will want top coat for a glossy finish

Removal won’t ve overly difficult and I didn’t have any problems with staining.

Happiness Is A Butterfly

Description: a pearlescent lilac base with a strong shimmer that shifts between a rainbow of colors. It has holo sparkle and flake for extra goodness
Price: $12.50

Happiness Is A Butterfly had a wonderful formula. This is a soft delicate pastel multichrome type of polish. I found the colors that I was seeing in person were the full pastel rainbow.

The holographic element was very strong. I found in direct lighting I was able to see it best. This polish to be more on the sheer side so you will have some VNL with in. That sheerness will make this an excellent topper.

My photo show Happiness Is A Butterfly in 3 coats plus top coat. Nothing in here dried textured but you will want top coat for a glossy finish.

I Am Enough

Description: a sheer baby pink crelly kissed with holo sparkle and iridescent fiery flakes that shift red-orange-pink-gold
Price: $11

I Am Enough had a wonderful formula. The base didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application problems. It started off a little sheer but it built up for full opacity.

The flakies in here look very unicorn-y and spread out evenly. There were a few larger sized flakies but they didn’t give off any texture, they also spread out very evenly.

My photos show I Am Enough in 3 coats plus 1 coat of top coat. If you would like a more sheer look, this will be passable in 2 coats. Removal won’t be overly difficult.

Make Your Own Magic

Description: a sheer black jelly filled with different colors of multichrome flakes, holo glitters, neon glitters, and holo sparkle
Price: $12

Make Your Own Magic had a fantastic jelly formula. Being a jelly, started off a little sheer but it built up really nicely. The glitters and shreds all spread out very evenly and easily.

The holographic paired with the rainbow of glitters and flakies looks so pretty! The glitters do not dry down textured so one coat of top coat smoothed it perfectly.

My photos show Make Your Own Magic in 3 coats plus top coat. This polish dried down slightly dull so you will want top coat for a glossy finish.

This polish is sheer enough that it could be used as a topper. The base will slightly darken what you put it on top of, but it would be doable. I broke my thumbnail on my swatch hand the day before I started swatching these so I couldn’t test it out myself.

Final Thoughts

I really loved this collection! Heather’s Hues collections are always a favorite for me. I have a lot of fond memories of purchasing Heather’s collections and I am still in shock that I get sent them to review.

My top picks are Beautiful Disaster (I have been wearing it on my dominant hand for going on 2 weeks) and Happiness Is A Butterfly. But you honestly can’t go wrong with anything by this brand.
