I started this blog last May, and the first real post went up on May 24th 2020. I can’t believe it’s already been a year and at the same time, I can’t believe it’s ONLY been a year.
So much about this blog has changed since I first got it in my head to start it. Originally I was planning on swatching all of my untrieds but it quickly turned into trying new collections and then swatching for upcoming releases.
I want to give a shoutout to first and foremost to EVERYONE who has visited the blog at any point this past 12 months! I’ve had almost 6,000 visitors this past year which is HUGE. I couldn’t have done it without all of your support. So thank YOU! 😘
I want to thank my husband for setting me up in a dedicated room with a big ol desk, where I can do all of nail related things from. Although I am sure in part the reason why he gave me this room was so that he wouldn’t have to smell acrylic, acetone, and nail polish fumes as soon as he walked into the house haha. Before having the nail room, I worked from our kitchen table.
I would like to say thank you to Heather from Heather’s Hues because not only is Heather an amazing human being, she was the first person to take a chance on me swatching for her.
I also want to shout out Nadia from Moonflower Polish, Alicia from Leesha’s Lacquer, and Kasi from Twisting Nether Lacquer for also taking a chance on me those first few months. Also a huge thank you to all of the amazing people who have sent me their polishes to swatch!
