Hey friends! Today I have another spooktacular Halloween collection to share with you all. This one is for the Halloween quad for 2021 by Glisten & Glow!

Glisten & Glow is a US based indie brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 5 free, vegan and cruelty free.
Ahead of the Carve
Description: vibrant orange polish with color shifting shimmers from red/green/gold
Ahead of the Carve had a fantastic formula. The base color is a vibrant cartoony pumpkin orange shade. The shimmer is very color shifty. I had a hard time getting the different colors to photograph but I was seeing them in person.
This will be a 2-3 coater depending on personal preference. I used 3 coats for my photos.
Mummy of the Year
Description: white based crelly with added glitters in brown, copper and orange
Mummy of the Year had an amazing crelly formula. The base didn’t feel thick at all despite being packed the glitter. The glitters all spread out evenly and easily without needing to do anything special. Some of the glitters are holographic so this will have a beautiful sparkle in the sunlight.
This one will also be a 2-3 coater depending on personal preference. My photos show it in 3 coats but it was opaque in 2 coats. This did dry textured so I went in for 1 coat of the Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber before going in with the Glisten & Glow top coat.
Scare Way to Heaven
Description: deep purple holo polish with color shifting shimmers from blue/aqua/purple and holo micro flakes
Scare Way to Heaven had a fantastic formula. The deep purple base paired with the shimmer gives this a beautiful spooky glow. The holo flakes are very holographic and really pop in the base. I found for the shimmer, the colors I was seeing in person were more a blue to purple.
This will be opaque in 1-2 coats depending on your application style. My photos show it in 2 coats. This is very pigmented so I would recommend wearing base coat if purple/blue/blurples ever stain you.
Witch Way to the Candy
Description: black holo polish with added holo mircoflakes
Witch Way to the Candy has a fantastic formula, no surprise there. It is also a one coater! It is also very holographic even in my normal house lighting.
This polish will dry down slightly dull so you will want top coat for a glossy finish. My photos show it in 2 coats.
Final Thoughts
This was yet another fantastic collection by Glisten & Glow. I thought the colors were perfect for Halloween and the names for the polishes were also great. Jill always has very punny (see what I did there?) names and I love them!
My top picks are going to be Scare Way To Heaven and Mummy of The Year.
Nail Art
I couldn’t not do a pumpkin nail art design with Ahead of the Carve! I used the fabled Maniology plate M009 for the ring finger and for the pumpkins I used Maniology plate M071. For the stamping polish, I used Maniology’s Straight Up Black.

Sale Information
The Halloween quad will be available on October 8th at 7PM Eastern time on the Glisten & Glow website. Each polish will be $10 or you can grab the quad for $35. As far as I know, this release won’t be LE but I also can’t imagine that it will stick around for too long as it is for Halloween.
