Hey friends! I have quite a few Bee’s Knees blog posts going up today, this being the second of three. For July, BKL is coming out with several releases. This one is for some exclusive polishes to the UK stockist page Rainbow Connection.

Get Off These Yams
Inspiration: the time Faith loudly announced to all of TIS San Antonio that she had to get off her yams (instead of gams)
Description: a yammy orange with glowy pink to green shimmer
Price: $13 for 15ml
Get Off These Yams had a beautiful formula. It does start off, and stay, fairly sheer so you will want to build it up for the most opacity. The shimmer in here was very strong and glowy.
In person, I was seeing a pink to orange color shift without any brush strokes. I did have some obvious VNL but the shimmer was so strong it wasn’t super noticeable.

Pinkest Sneakers
Inspiration: the time we dropped an entire container of pink pigment and coating most surfaces in the workshop in it, but none more so than our shoes
Description: a sheer pale purple leaning magenta with large particle red to orange shimmer
Price: $12 for 15ml
Pinkest Sneakers had a great formula. The base didn’t feel overly thick or thin and I didn’t have any application issues. Like the previous polish, this one is also very sheer so you will want to build it up for the most opacity.
The shimmer in here is SUPER glowy! To my eye, it was a orangey almost golden type of shimmer effect. I didn’t see any brush strokes through it.
Out of the two exclusives, this one is definitely my favorite. I opted to also show it in 1 coat over Holo Taco’s What Do You Pink? since it was so sheer. Personally, I like it best in 3 coats on its own.
My photos show Pinkest Sneakers in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. This dries down a little flat so you will want top coat for a glossy finish.

The Rainbow Connection exclusives will be available starting on July 29th at 7PM Eastern time on Rainbow-Connection.co.uk. Each polish will be available individually. Rainbow Connection ships from the UK and they do ship internationally.
