Each mystery bag has 2 polishes and there are a total of 10 possible polishes. All of the polishes feature a shimmer + holographic element. Mystery bags are limited to 1 per person but not per household. I’ll have more details on the mystery bags at the end of this post.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer is a US based indie brand. Their polishes are in 15ml bottles, 5 free, cruelty free and vegan friendly.
A Fever In The Night
Description: a wine red Lion sibling with the same red to green shimmer and holo flakes
A Fever In The Night had a fantastic formula. I was pretty surprised when I did the first coat of this polish because of how purple leaning the base looks! In the bottle, this looks like a red polish with a strong red to gold shimmer.
I am not usually one for wine or purpley red polishes but there was something about A Fever In The Night that I just loved! The base doesn’t feel overly thick or thin and I had no application issues.
The holo flakies do not dry down textured but you will want top coat for a glossy finish. They are pretty holographic but indoors they do look silver.
My photos show A Fever In The Night in 2 coats plus glossy top coat. While I did not personally experience any staining with this polish, I would still recommend wearing base coat.
The Black Horse
Description: a black with pink to green shimmer and holo flakes
The Black Horse is another polish that I was surprised on what the official description was vs what I was seeing in person. In the bottle this looks like a black polish BUT on the nail it has a slight bluish purply undertone to it. It’s a very cool toned leaning black.
The interesting bluish/purple undertone paired with the shimmer made me very very happy. I mainly saw a pink to yellow/gold color shift in the shimmer.
The holographic in the polish looks kind of like a glitter but is super tiny so they do not give off any texture.
My photos show The Black Horse in 3 coats plus glossy top coat. I will call this a 2-3 coater depending on personal preference. If you want to see the color in the bottle that you see on the nail, you’ll want to go in for two coats.
