Hey y’all! I have another post for you all today. This one is for some Facebook group customs by Bee’s Knees Lacquer. These polishes are inspired by the Netflix movie trilogy, Fear Street! I LOVED those movies so I am very excited to share these swatches!

Shadyside
Group: Black Hearted Beauties
Description: a black polish with lime green magnetic shimmer and purple and red iridescent flakes. $13
Price: $13
Shadyside had a fantastic formula. This was my first time trying out a magnetic polish by this brand as well as using the S magnet. I found this magnetized very easily. The magnetic shimmer is very strong so in person this looks like a dark green polish with a brighter green shimmer.
This polish paired with the magnetic effect reminds me of the Jamaican flag for some reason. I used 3 coats for my photos. nothing in here dried textured or will be difficult to remove.
Sunnyvale
Group: Holo-maniacs
Description: an aqua to purple pastel multichrome with linear holo and large holo flakes. $13
Price: $13
Sunnyvale had a really great formula. The multichrome base is very color shifty and the linear holo is very holographic. In person, I was seeing an aqua to purple to pink color shift with gold at extreme angles. The multichrome pigment doesn’t show brush strokes.
I think this will be a 3 coater on most nails. If you go in for a thicker coat, you might be good in 2 coats. Nails shorter than mine without much of a free edge will probably be good in 2 coats. I used 3 coats for my photos.
The Milkman in ’53
Group: Lacquered in White
Description: a white polish with gold to green to blue shimmer and glowy red iridescent flakes

The Milkman in ’53 had a really wonderful formula. It applies like a crelly polish and is very buttery smooth. The shimmer is very strong and glowy! This is such a gorgeous polish! The flakes spread evenly on the nail without giving off any texture.
I swatched this polish in 2 coats. I had a tiny bit of VNL but I just loved how this looked in 2 coats so I stopped there. Longer nails than mine will likely want to use 3 coats for more opacity. Nothing in here dried textured or will be difficult to remove.
Ruby Lane in ’65
Group: Fantastic Flakies
Description:a charcoal gray polish with silver to blue and orange iridescent flakes. $12
Price: $12
Ruby Lane in ’65 had a really great formula. It starts off kinda sheer so you will want to build it up for full opacity. In person, the flakes to me looked like they were silver, gold and a light blue shade. They all spread out evenly without giving off any texture.
I think this will be a 2-3 coater depending on thickness in coats. I found the third coat deepened the color to what I was seeing in the bottle as well as adding more opacity. Nothing in here will be difficult to remove.
