Hi friends! Today I have a swatches of a Color Spectrum Polish that will be a part of a new-to-me (but not new) collaboration box called The Charity Box. This polish will be available Thursday, November 12 and is exclusive to the box. I will have more details as well as links at the end of this post!
The Charity Box is a monthly collaboration box between a few indie makers. Each month has a different theme, different items, and a portion of the proceeds always go to a different charity! For November, the charity is the Pink Daisy Project.
Disclaimer: I was sent these products as PR in exchange for photographs and an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My photos were taken indoors with daylight LED bulbs, outdoors with natural light plus both matte and glossy top coats.
Color Spectrum Polish – The Legendary Wizard
Inspiration: Merlin the Wizard
Description: A deep purple loaded with gold holo, purple to green aurora shimmer, violet to blue to pink ucc flakies, copper to green to gold flakies and purple to blue shifting ghost flakies
Price: $12 for 13ml
The Legendary Wizard just glides on the nail, like magic! The application and formula are absolutely perfect. This is an extremely shimmery sparkly polish! So much so, I wrote ‘sparkly af’ in my swatch notes. The sparkle factor even looks breathtaking matte! I found the base for this to be very jelly like but it built up really well. If you like a sheer finish, this looks great in 2 coats. My photos show it in 3 coats for full opacity.
This is sheer enough in 1 coat that I think it would work as a topper over complimentary base colors. I’m thinking blues, purples, pinks, maybe white, or black but don’t let me hold you back from experimenting! No issues with removal when using acetone. I will note that if you scrub this off, you’ll have very beautiful and sparkly fingers afterward.

The Magic & Sorcery themed Charity Box will launch Thursday, November 12 at 9am Central on ShopCharityBox.com. The website will be open until Saturday the 21st at 10pm central time. There will be several different brands available. From what I have seen in the Facebook group, there will be nail polishes, a stamping plate and wax melts available this month. Everything is available to purchase individually. So no need to commit to buying the whole box if only 1 or 2 things interest you. As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, a portion ($1 for each polish) of the proceeds of the box will go to the Pink Daisy Project.
